Men who worked with US/Allies could very well be in more imminent physical danger.

In the long run women will almost surely have it worse, but right now? They might well be physically safer.

As much of asshole brutes as the Taliban are, slaughtering women is frowned upon.

Look at any pictures or video of “protests” or something similar from that region. It’s always all males. Women don’t participate in much of anything outside of the home.

And as was pointed out by a poster above me, the men (or any of their family by birth or marriage) who provided any assistance to the USA are as good as dead.
