A word of advice to Mitch McConnell and Donald Trump...

Just shut the hell up!

If you are thinking about using this crisis in Afghanistan to incite another insurrection, don't.

The people do not need to hear any of your crap at this time.

issues but certainly not their issues. Them aside as they are a minority, albeit a scary minority and soon to die of Covid. I’m still worried because a portion of this country feels let down and we are getting ready for midterm elections

They're going to try to score some points now politically, because in a month or two, the American people are going to be happy we left Afghanistan.

I would not be surprised, even at this moment, that the American people agreed with getting out of Afghanistan.

The American people polled 70-29 for getting out of Afghanistan just last week. 56% of Republicans wanted to get out.

And that's the bottom line. Did we miscalculate how easily the Afghan government would give up? Sure, but in the end, the people are getting what they want. This isn't like some 50-50 deal, 70-29 in this day and age is overwhelming.

And that's fine, Biden is largely a boring and competent president, the media needs something to freak out about.
