So our school district mandated mask for all children attending school if their vaccinated or not vaccinated, If you do not want your child to mask up then alternative is home school real simple choices. Yet here in Pennsylvania magastan our school district some parents are upset cuz mask order in school 100%. Not only parents grandparents as my wife and i , these people are upset over our superintendent mask policy.
Posting this and talking with my wife I know Im preaching to the choir. Im 55 my wife is 54, we both have the vaccine scar on our left arm , we got it as children was it polio or smallpox I cant remember. Yet what floors me as adults our age who benefited from vaccines are so anti vaccine today. I hear my kids and I are vaccinated by the blood of Jesus I think man satan is a slick fuq for you to think that way clown.

(16,811 posts)Talking with a 38 year old Body builder who is unvaccinated. Not judging him, I relayed my reasons to getting the vaccines and a recent COVID test that was negative. I attended a convention Aug.4th thru the 8th and an attendee had COVID symptoms.
Being the Mother Hen that I am, I said, "Do it for the people you do NOT want to get this virus." He told me his mother contracted COVID 2 weeks ago at a wedding she was a Bridesmaid for and she is still shaking it off. Still battling it.
I also suggested he call his local Pharmacy to get information to setting up appointments for the vaccine. I said to him, "This is about community. We look out for each other."
Then another Gym member came to me and thanked me for how I handled the situation.

(82,849 posts)Some airline executive is on. Or a restaurant owner. Or a school superintendent. Or a military big shot. What's your first priority? "Making sure our customers/patrons/students/soldiers are safe." Whether it's a faulty 737 flight system or a war zone, safety is always touted as the first priority by the folks in charge.
Is it true? Not according to these yammering fools, who don't even know what they're so upset about. But by golly, upset they are, and it's up to everyone else to accommodate them in their rage.
