Somehow I don't remember the press being so tough on Trump

when he pulled us out of Syria and abandoned our allies while handing over a US air base to the Russians. Does anybody else? All with no notice or negotiations, and no written deal that benefitted us in any way. Not that I've seen, anyway.

Trump has never done either in his entire life.

5. Well, the press wasn't really in Syria.

They weren’t trying to get that perfect story, or perfect shot. Not to mention all the new media who wanted to write books about their time there. Syria was way too dangerous, so who knows what happened?

others had this happened on his watch, and deservingly so.

We get the withdrawal is long over due, but the execution is questionable.
