33 yr old vaccinated woman dies from COVID 19

A 33-year-old woman has died in New Orleans despite being vaccinated against COVID-19, a “breakthrough” case that her family hopes will serve as a reminder to Americans to continue to wear masks.

Angelle Mosley told her mother and sister in July that she had tested positive for the delta variant of coronavirus, but her mom told CBS News her health quickly deteriorated because she was obese.

Her mother, Tara Mosley, was asked if doctors specifically told her that her daughter’s weight was a factor in her severe illness. “He did,” she said in response. “He did. He says that she’s a large person. Her heart could not pump like it should have been pumping.”

Obesity is one of the comorbidities that can put a person at risk for severe symptoms of COVID-19. Others include kidney and heart disease, as well as asthma and a history of cancer. The CDC recommends that people with comorbidities continue to wear masks and social distance — in addition to vaccination.

And only going around other people with at least a N95/KN95 mask that fits correctly at a minimum. Masks below that rating are less effective and riskier for those that really need reliable protection.

To help those who are vaccinated with significant co-morbidities and those who for legitimate reasons haven't or can't receive the vaccines.

This is a global pandemic caused by a highly mutating virus.

I will continue to do what is necessary until nobody has too.

Anything below that is still at too much risk for someone with comorbidities. Distancing and isolation are still the most effective prevention tools of course.

As this one anomalous case becomes the new template for refusing to get vaccinated. Sure, millions of people didn't get infected and survived quite nicely, but there was this one woman in New Orleans . . .

And it pisses me off that some calling themselves "scientists" say otherwise.

What causes COVID-19 deaths? A massive inflammatory response. The so-call cytokine storm.

The problem is pre-existing inflammation. Inflammation caused hyperinsulinemia, and other inflammations, such as from oxidation damage caused by too many Omega-6 fatty acids (from using crappy PUFA seed-oils).

A metabolically healthy obese person is not going to have the same reaction.

The key is metabolic health, not BMI.
