A large part why Hillary lost in 2016 was how they misrepresented the Hillary emails, and

one week before the election, they falsely claimed that the email investigation was reopened, then paraded every right wing politician across our TV screens propagating that lie, and when Comey came out late Friday and said there were no new emails, and the investigation would not be reopened, they hardly covered it

They did a similar exercise with Kerry and the swift pukes. The swift boaters got free advertising from the illustrious media by playing over and over the swift liars ad as a “news story”

We all know how they ridiculed Howard Dean, and made fun of Al Gore with their snide jokes about the internet, and how he had no sense of humor

Their sexist comments about Hillary how she never smiles and was too shrill still anger me

But the worst example of sexism was when Matt Lauer was interviewing Hillary and trump separately during the 2016 campaign, and the unprofessional way he treated Hillary, not even letting her answer a question before interrupting her, while not only throwing softball questions at trump, but giving him all the time in the world to answer the softball questions, and how Addrew Lack, NBC news chairman commented how proud he was how Lauer handled those interviews

Murrow, Cronkite, Chancler, Brinkley, Reynolds, etc must be rolling in their graves what has happened to their profession

It was more important than every other factor combined.

And, yes, Matt Lauer's conduct was reprehensible.

It makes me sick thinking about how rudely and unprofessionally Hillary was treated. Not only the Repukes but the media journalists and commenters who were anything but "fair and balanced."

I don't ever want to see another woman treated that way. Hillary Clinton was by far the best qualified candidate for President in 2016, and damn near any other year in my lifetime. I'm 70 years old and I've been voting since 1972, so I can remember a lot of presidential elections.

Could the non stop and last minute negative stories about her have something to do with it? I still have to argue with family and friends who think there is something corrupt about the Clintons that is mostly based on a smear campaign against them that started in the 90’s.

The NY Times knew about Trump's links to the mob, sleezy ass cons like his fake University,
his failed businesses, his going to cocaine and sex parties, and his love for Hitler but all we
heard about was HRC's and her emails which was part of a Russian disinformation program.

BTW when the NY Times had to print a correction about their coverage of Hillary and her emails
they ran that on the inside of the paper in one or two little paragraphs.
