5. I think in the interview

Biden says 10 - 15k Americans 50k Afghans and that's it. We should be able to do it by end of month. At this point it's our folks and our troops safety. By the end of the month as long as all American are out it's time to leave. I feel bad for some of the Afghan folks but there all not getting out.

But some of us really do live in a fantasy world in which the USA is a caped crusader motivated by a sense of moral duty and obligation and endowed with the capability (and a seemingly endless source of funds) to rescue every vulnerable population in the world from their plight and give them democracy and freedom.

They were asked to evacuate weeks ago. I'm also hearing there's still American children there? wtf?
I'm assuming many are not in Kabul maybe trapped in other cities. Still unclear.

thousands of Americans were trapped in and around Kabul with no ability to get to the airport. The US embassy staff have been safely transported to the Kabul airport. Hopefully we’ll get everyone out by august 31
