When is that going to be, considering that maybe 40% of the population doesn't like it that we are becoming increasingly diverse?

but certainly it's going to take a few more generations to get there.

Each new generation of kids is a little more tolerant than the last.

We will get there.

Imagine someone from 1799 coming awake to see a Black man as President, or an openly Gay man in a high position of governmental power, or a Black and Asian woman as VP.

They'd lose their mind...even the best of them. Well, Franklin might be cool with it. lol

The grand experiment of majority rule, balanced by inalienable individual rights, is the inexorable global struggle of humanity.

In order to "extend the franchise", as it were, nothing less than a global direct democracy will do. Global telecommunications is just the start.
