According to BBC report, US officials have advised all Americans and Afghan citizens that ....

...wish to leave the country, to stay away from the Kabul Airport at this time.

Has this been reported in American news yet?

It must be very dangerous?

As some suggested a couple of days ago, Baradar the Barbarian has made his way into Kabul to discuss organizing a government. A good guess would be that several more Taliban followed him into town?

Also reported that an ISIS terrorist leader is involved in the negotiations for a new government.

Perhaps I am just paranoid, but I could see this situation deteriorating very rapidly.

I can't handle the news but it's all over facebook, this site and everywhere I turn. I'm in search of xanax to just sleep a week away.

They need to get out of there ASAP. If they wait too long, until the last person that wants out has a ticket, I fear it may be too late.

Which is where' they're bringing a lot of them. It's not a good idea to have massive crowds standing around in the heat at the airport, waiting for hours and hours, unable to go anywhere. They're not going to send more planes out, if they don't have places for them to land and process passengers.

Why did so many Americans wait this long to get out? The treaty that Trump signed had us leaving in May, if I was that worried about the Taliban I would have gotten my family out last year. I understand that the government folded quicker than anyone expected but the Taliban has been gaining ground in Afghanistan over the last year. Any rational person had to know this war was not going to end well.
