2. All the perks of "democracy" without any of the "responsibilities"

wasn't ever going to end well. More years would equal cries of colonialism, empire building, etc...The whole world runs from Haiti; southeast Asia is still geographically evolving; the Muslim world is struggling. Britain's empire collapsed worldwide and couldn't even make nice with the rest of Europe when authoritarian leader(s) and exploitative grifting corporate partners play at unfair games. Roman empire, as well. That said, some nations shouldn't be nations when they can't afford to feed, house, shelter, defend their own nation by their own funding.

I hope Taliban, though authoritarian, has learned that worldwide terrorism behaviors are not the wisest way to bring a nation's reputation forward; I hope the rest of the world realizes the costs involved in bringing a backward nation forward without charitable exploitation. Even women need to have "freedoms" and the rights of education, life skills, and social presence that respect what gives all humans life and purpose. I blame intolerant religion, raging male hormones that only seek acquisition and singular power, and the isolation and control of the feminine that treats the gender as commodity empty-headed baby-makers for war.
