(3,079 posts)I think because Biden is boring, when compared to TFG, the MMM has to find something to sensationalize. Without it, they are boring also. Biden is doing his job and getting it done. That's all that matters.

(11,767 posts)That implies a naivete, a sense of being immature. The press knows exactly what it is doing. The motivation is more sinister in my opinion. Media is driven by viewership and the revenue it generates. Viewership is driven, at this point, by drama. The press is giving the people what they will purchase, click on (then maybe hit up a sponsor), etc... If there is an immaturity here, then it is the customer. If people stopped clicking on, buying, etc... the sensational news coverage, then perhaps that more sober and deep analytical stories would be at the forefront.
Things working as they should are "boring" for people, so the press/media tend to cover the 5% of train wrecks, not the hard work done by the train operators that makes 95% or higher successful train operation.
