Bodies stacked to the ceiling as COVID-19 surge creates backlog at Florida funeral homes, crematories
https://www.wfla.com/community/health/coronavirus/bodies-stacked-to-the-ceiling-as-covid-19-surge-creates-backlog-at-florida-funeral-homes-crematories/

At West Side Crematory in Winter Garden, they’re overwhelmed with the remains of people that need to be cremated.

There’s an influx of bodies like they’ve never seen, worse than the first wave of COVID-19. The area where bodies are stored prior to being cremated is stacked to the ceiling. The staff is working day and night to honor the dead.

WESH 2 called 20 funeral homes and crematories and many were too busy to be part of our story. Some were too busy to even talk on the phone. One funeral director said that in a 30-minute period where he talked to his partner, four new cases came in.

Mike Marchetti, the area manager for Newcomer Funeral Homes, says as much as they don’t want to, sometimes they have to delay meetings with families and delay funerals because they only have so much staff.

227 deaths reported per day right now (not date of death, just date death reported so many of these were days or weeks ago)

But still, that's a plane crash a day in FL

I have heard from someone there that said take what the news is saying about India and multiply it by at least 40.

There was a thread on DU last week wondering how India was doing so well. The answer appears to be that the nees out of there is lies.

Because so many people are dying the vital records office is lagging. We won't even know the true August death numbers until late September.

If Florida's requirements are the same as New Hampshire, the maiden name of the deceased wife is required and the names of parents and mother's maiden name. I had a time running down the spelling of mother's-in-law (deceased) name. Hubby's birth certificate was buried in the depths of his paper work that he never organized.

If so, this is alone will be a cluster coitus. Florida is filled with people in transit, snow birds, vacationers, people with second seasonal homes, most from out of state, more than a few from out of country. Very few people on a two week vacation bring all their personal records and documents with them. Then there's the solitary, especially the elderly.

I'd say you're being generous about late September.

Congratulations DeSatan and Repubs: You broke it, maybe beyond repair.

As sick and tired as I am of the mask mandates, I believe that many of the dead waiting cremation and burial would still be alive if they’d gotten vaccinated.

They're still several weeks away from peak deaths if their cases are leveling off now. Could start to see 4 or 5 hundred a day there for an extended time.

digging trenches for mass burials that we'd normally only see in places/countries struck by a huge # of deaths in a very short time.

Is outrageously high in Florida. Flood zones, soon to increase massively, will not allow grave sites. Cremation or mass grave burnings may be needed. That should blow up some evilgelicals minds that do not believe in cremation and destroying bodies of the dead. MAGA! We need mandates that don’t allow non resident burials in other states. WNC is littered with 2nd and 3rd millionaire homes of extremely wealthy Florida real waste tycoons. They may start buying up forests and mountains here to bury DeSantan victims. And he, DeSatan plans on being president, or maybe even Trumps VP. I don’t see trump NOT running to get revenge on everyone. What a fucked up country we have become. God AINT Blessin the Untied Staaaaash. And we are suppose to believe “In God We Trust” plastered on everything. He sent trump, and according to his cult is in the war to reinstate trump.
2020 is calling, “Ya miss me yet?” The last half of 2021 is gonna be very deadly, from virus explosion from schools and Football and white Taliban mass murders. This is all the result of GQP, Fox and white wing media. Guess we just need to hike and drink wine and keep good music playing in the Bose headphones.

I said the real estate tycoons buying up mountain land for second and third homes here, in WNC, may start buying more mountain land for graveyards to bury floridiots. With a hint of sarcasm. I know Florida has no mountains,😏.

Creeps in. May need to bury inland. Or fill some sink holes. It is such an unnecessary problem. DeSatan is only one branch of this evil tree. But damn, Florida can do better, he barley won, IF he did. We have our own asshole. WNC was devastated by floods in Haywood County. Equal to Tennessee floods. Cawthorn is nowhere to be found, except tweeting stupid shit about Biden. Good luck down there. Hoping people wake up. Being woke may save the country. I don’t know, do zombies ever wake up? Even after feasting on brains?
