"President Joe Biden said U.S. regulators are looking at administering Covid-19 booster shots five months after people finish their primary immunizations, moving up the expected timetable for a third shot by about three months.

Biden, who was speaking with Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett on Friday, said health officials were considering following that country's lead on boosters.

"We're considering the advice you've given that we should start earlier," Biden said, adding that officials are debating whether the timeline should be shorter. "Should it be as little as five months and that's being discussed."

made my cvs appointment online the day before...walked in, no one waiting...pharmacist asked if it was Moderna or Pfizer and that was it...I have no problem get a booster every 5 to 6 months forever

17. We got our original shots thru our Costco pharmacy. I've seen signs up all over here about COVID

vaccines available. I don't care for Walgreens but most grocery stores have a pharmacy. We were going to go on Wednesday as that was our 6 month date. I got pretty sick after number 2, as I have a compromised immune system. I ended up getting an outbreak of shingles the third day after the shot so the vaccine really challenged my immune system. Also ran a pretty good fever for like a week.

24. Too my knowledge, the third shot is the same as the first two. It's only called a booster as you

are supposed to have been fully vaccinated prior to this shot. So it's boosting the first two doses.

They want you to stick with the same vaccine you already got.

My state health department says they're only giving boosters to immune compromised people. I can't find anything at FEMA.

15. The boosters so far have only been approved for immuno compromised.

They haven't yet been approved for everybody.

I’m not really immune-compromised but I do have cystic fibrosis and diabetes.

that are high risk for covid complications as eligible for boosters now.

so 8 months in Nov. I teach, full classes, all in person. If they open it to 5 months I will be there forthwith. For now, I just have to wait.
