(5,202 posts)He is an agent provocateur, a liar and total grifter. He would lie and say he had it and then lie and say he was cured with dewormer.
He is probably vaccinated.

(26,009 posts)in the film, Contagion. Throughout a viral pandemic, this one guy claims that forsythia is a preventative and a cure. He gets millions of followers on social media. He claims that the CDC and health system are withholding the truth from the public. He does a live video online where he acts very sick and then drinks a concoction supposedly of forsythia.
Next day he goes online to show his followers that he feels better. People fight each other in a pharmacy trying to get forsythia. When a vaccine is produced, he tells people to take forsythia instead.
In the end, he gets arrested for fraud, but his followers post bail for him.
The movie was made before covid, but some parts are incredibly true to life.

(12,730 posts)I have experience with these kind of drugs for livestock and dogs. Diarrhea general occurs if the animal has a large infection of stomach worms. The diarrhea is the body clearing out the dead worms. Ivermectin in humans can only cause diarrhea in people being treated for intestinal parasites.
My point is this is probably a false side effect of the misuse of this drug. Promoting something that is wrong casts doubt on the issue.
It is a dangerous drug that has no demonstrated effect on any infection other than mites and internal parasites.
