Has anyone seen this covered in the mainstream media?

I’m sick of the lazy reporting and misinformation.
Please note the date of the article. This effort began in APRIL. It’s important.

ATLANTA — U.S. military officials said they had removed some 60 planeloads of gear from Afghanistan and identified about 1,300 pieces of equipment for destruction by Tuesday as the Pentagon works to exit the country where American troops have been at war for nearly 20 years.
The drawdown effort to remove U.S. forces and the warfighting gear that they have spread across Afghanistan since invading in October 2001 was roughly 2% to 6% completed by Tuesday, U.S. Central Command said in a statement. The formal retrograde process began Saturday as the Pentagon works to remove more than 3,000 troops, thousands of U.S. contractors and their equipment by Sept. 11, the date that President Joe Biden decided he wanted all American forces to be out of the country.
Air Force C-17 cargo jets, which the service said can carry about 17,900 pounds of cargo, are running near around-the-clock missions to move military equipment out of Afghanistan in the Pentagon’s largest drawdown effort since it left Iraq in 2011, officials said. The CENTCOM statement on Tuesday indicated officials intended to provide regular updates on retrograde progress but would give only an estimated range of the completion for security reasons.”

and equipment left behind. If I understand correctly what was left behind wasn't needed elsewhere or wasn't cost effective to move. That is is too complicated for the MSM to report I guess.

9. It's really not lazy reporting because it implies they didn't do enough research on the subject

The truth is they would ignore this reporting even if they know about it because it wouldn't fit into the narrative they want. The MSM did it purposely because the shock and awe and rage draws in more views and clicks.

mix opinion into news. I still watch and listen to foreign news because they aren't as polarized as in the US. They have their leaning and preferences but none as bad as Fox News where they would not even cover some news if it is bad for their narrative. Even CNN international is way better than CNN in the US. Too much punditry driving what is reported. I really wish they go back to reporting the news items and let us decide how to think or absorb the news. We, in the US, don't even pretend to be fair and balance.

Government owned news has it's problem as the people in charge/power will try to manipulate the news. We see it in China and North Korea where their news is state owned. And remember America One network that is government back and Trump made it into Fox News.

and Trump appointed his minion as head and the news turned into Fox News and no real person take that network seriously. And other countries have private news organizations for many many years and they aren't as polarized as in the US. The problem is Fox News and the GoP.

It is not good to only have one news source (CSPAN or whatever new news network you dream up). The corrupt GoP will find ways to turn it into Fox News and you won't have other "normal" news source to counter it.

I know we, democrats, tend to think government/independent will work. But time and time again, republicans find ways to corrupt it. They don't play fair.

Take republican party out of power. They are all a bunch of psychopaths. Psychopaths cannot share or govern.

I think each candidate take a psychopathy test on tv where it will be observed by everyone. If they have dark triad they cannot run for office.

That would eliminate republicans and corrupt rich people.
