It was just driving me crazy. Messing up my sleep, stress eating. Nasty, nasty, nasty. So even though I love listening to radio and/or audio of cable, I turned them off. Even less of DU ‘cause you all know it can get a bit intense around here. The silence is wonderful. Instead my world is filled with morning bird song, evening insect and frog singing, hints of athletic contests and marching band at the high school, kids playing outside. Good stuff. Catch up with news via newspaper. I did want to hear the President give his speech but I had a volunteer shift to cover at the zoo. It was quiet there, too. (Rain) 😄
