(2,962 posts)The birth control pill is supposed to be a form of abortion.
Keeps the fertilized egg from attaching.

(15,613 posts)BC pills - including Plan B - work by preventing ovulation so sperm never meets egg. There's no way to spin that as a form of abortion, so they just lie.

(37,848 posts)There will be some states where birth control is perfectly legal and abortion is completely on demand with no restrictions.
States like CA, NY, IL, WA, etc, etc.
I know I plan to support a ballot proposal in MI for full legalization when it comes up. It would definitely pass here.
This is going to end up a lot like 1970-1973, where NY was the place to go for an abortion.

(37,848 posts)The states I mentioned will go first, including New England.
Secession is NOT prohibited in the Constitution, therefore it is legal via the 10th Amendment.
Powers specifically not spelled out in the Constitution are left to the states in the 10th.
Will there be a war over it? Who knows.

(37,848 posts)1865 is when the United States stopped being a confederation and start being a federation.
The disunity we see now is very indicative of the erosion of the federation back into a confederation.

I know I would be terrified to live in a red state without those parts removed.
But those gop assholes hate women and hate transpeople like me.
They'll come after the women than us transpeople eventually.
Republicans must be stopped one way or another. Make it hurt and make it personal.
