PA Women Charged In Capitol Attack

A woman from Lawrence county is the latest person from Western Pennsylvania to face federal charges related to her alleged involvement with the riot at the United States Capitol on January 6.

Julia Jeanette Sizer of Ellwood City, PA surrendered Thursday morning after being accused of being a part of a mob of pro-Trump demonstrators who breached the Capitol while Congress was certifying the results of the 2020 election, seeking to overthrow the results.

On January 7, 2021 a tip about Sizer was submitted to the FBI National Threat of Operations Center after Sizer shared a video of herself inside the Capitol on January 6.

According to the criminal complaint, when Sizer was first contacted on January 29, 2021 about her attendance at the Capitol, she initially denied being there. After being shown video that appeared to show Sizer inside the Capitol in March, the complaint says she changed her story and admitted it was her.

Sizer can be seen holding her cellphone and wearing a distinctive "Trump" hat.
