Some appropriately liberal state should pass a law outlawing hand guns, semi-automatic weapons, high volume magazines - take your pick - BUT leave enforcement to private citizens through civil lawsuits with a statutory judgment amount and attorney's fees.

If Texas can side-step one constitutionally protected right, there is nothing to say New York cannot side-step another, other than SCOTUS didn't really mean what it said.
