Why can't we sue the man responsible for getting her pregnant?

Why doesn't Texas pass a law that allows the state to prove the paternity
of said pregnancy and then holds that individual responsible for child support?

If they ever passed a law which held a man responsible for supporting his own
unwanted pregnancy, we would never hear another peep about abortion.

Abortion laws put all of the burden on women -- the pregnancy, the decision,
and the responsibility of financially supporting and raising a child.
