(47,495 posts)POC have been telling us for years the truth about cops.

(8,351 posts)A cop makes about $42.00 an hour, a Security Guard makes about $13 with next to no benefits. Let them go, bring in the National Guard for 90 days, they will be back, be vaccinated and have a better attitude. Being a cop is a shitty job. You deal with people often at their worst, still, if you let them get away with the little shit, the big shit follows. It their own thought process of broken windows. They need to be accountable.

(118,832 posts)and elsewhere the police have to supplement their income by shaking others down. That is what the GOP wants. No middle class. Poor in an abyss. Rich people voting to pay not taxes. Phony elections. No freedom because there will be no middle class. Why be Turkey where thousands of undesirables have been neutralized in the 8 years they have had authoritarian leadership (i could not get behind the paywall to see how). Is this what they want? Does that sound fun?

Police Unions give real unions a bad name. Real unions are not supposed to protect stupid, racist and incompetent.

(2,870 posts)percentage of tRump lovers than the public at large. That in itself is generally an indictment of how law enforcement has evolved in our country. And, while the GOP position against unions is quite clear, I think the police in general and the LE tRumpers in particular, don't feel like the GOP will hurt "their" union.
