Altered Police Report in SC Shooting.

The initial police report in the shooting of Alex Murdaugh on a lonely South Carolina road indicated that there was no visible injury and no alcohol use by the victim. A subsequent report indicated an injury and that use of alcohol by the victim was 'unknown'. Murdugh's attorney has issued a statement denying that the gunshot wound was self inflicted.

went straight from the hospital into rehab. Drugs.

His wife probably confronted him about the stolen money and his drug use. {and probably an affair/hookers.) He shot her and the son witnessed it, so he shot him too. Then he tried to make it look like someone was trying to kill him in order to throw suspicion away from him.
