Walmart worker resigns over loud speaker, " F-k this job."

Snip< "Attention Walmart shoppers and associates, my name is Beth from electronics," Beth McGrath said over the store’s PA system. "I’ve been working at Walmart for almost five years and I can say that everyone here is overworked and underpaid."

Snip< "I’m tired of the constant gaslighting," McGrath went on to say. "This company treats their elderly associates like s–t. To Jarred, our store manager, you’re a pervert. Greta and Kathy, shame on y'all for treating our associates the way you do. I hope you don’t speak to your families the way you speak to us.

They treat staff with some respect. And it shows!

The staff of the two local warehouses would be happy to welcome this hero to the team. Especially in electronics (occasionally unstaffed when I visit).

I had a smart, hard-working friend (sadly now deceased) who got treated like garbage there.

She’d drive a long way to do her shift, and a couple of times a week they’d tell her, “Oh, we don’t need you today after all.”

And they’d always make sure she was just a few hours shy of qualifying for full-time benefits like paid time off and health insurance. She was just one of many getting the same kind of treatment. Truly a toxic work situation.

I’ve shopped there twice in my life, both times when I had a minor automotive emergency in an area where that was the only option for buying a battery or a tire. Hope to stay out of there the rest of my life.

The fall of Wal-Mart would hurt us all terribly. Even lethally. Perhaps gradual rehabilitation could bring about reform without disaster. But that would require a firm and thoughtful hand at the helm. Fat chance!

First we need to find the helm.......... Then build a scaffold for executing abusive Wal-Mart managers. The threat alone should inspire some civility and respect for associates.

They ran all the competition off just about everywhere Americans lived. They did so by undercutting ALL their competition. Much of America is TOTALLY addicted to their proximity and prices. Cold turkey will kill us. So until there are other sources there is nothing to do about them These facts don't change because the Waltons are pigs.
