Besides, I question Pocan's understanding of the vast scope of duties of the government he's now part of. Trump already started this and all the contracts and payments made. Not to mention the change in hierarchy.

Once all the supply of uniforms wear out we can quietly have a redesign and one day quietly rename the branch.

But near-space is being weaponized and not just by Russia. And we could start to see moon bases in 30-50 years. Plus the need to track asteroids and comments heading our way is fairly important as well.
