Mary Trump explains why she thinks Donald Trump Jr. is the dumbest of the Trump children

Mary Trump spoke to John Aravosis and Cliff Schecter promoting her latest book about the collective trauma Americans have faced over the years of the Trump administration.

In the early part of the conversation, Trump explains some information about the upbringing of former president Donald Trump's children and how her uncle carried one some of the mistakes Fred Trump made with him.

Fred Trump's eldest and namesake, Freddy Trump, was supposed to take over the business and build it bigger and better. But he was so disenchanted with what he had to deal with that he left and decided to do what he loved, flying. That was what ultimately turned Donald into the new Trump heir.

Like his father, Donald also sidestepped his namesake and elevated Ivanka to be the more important part of the business. This was, in part, because Don Jr. is the least intelligent of the Trump children, Mary Trump explained.

failures are judgement & egotistic. None ever seem to use "common sense" in making their decisions & ALL of them function on the tenet that for a decision to be correct, it must be good for THEM & the hell with anyone or anything else.

whatever intelligence a person has. You must accept that you don't know some things in order to learn. When all of your life is built around power games and self interest, there is no room for mental development and growth. They developed cleverness in using people, sidestepping laws, blaming others, duping people as part of the chronic, forever power games in their lives. They have power game "intelligence," but no real mental development.

But he and Princess Sparkle**** do a much better job of staying out of the spotlight, plus they seem to have much more significant operational roles in the failed Trump crime syndicate, so I'm not surprised that Lil' Don is considered the dumbest of the three.

When Butthead and Princess do make appearances they are cringeworthy, but they are Trumps after all. Tackiness, cluelessness, and sociopathy are baked in.

18. My theory

is that Sr. molested Ivanka starting when she was prepubescent and only stopped when she threatened to tell someone, but then bribed her with stuff so she wouldn't. By then Mumsy and Sr were divorced and like the others, she just wanted Daddy to love her. She's been trying to reconcile that ever since.
