Answered questions and got booster appointment.

Showed id.

Just sharing with my du friends.

I say try if you want the booster.

It asked if I had all these conditions and I said no.

Oh well. It worked somehow.

I got mine yesterday too.

Glad it worked for you!

I think most people don't realize how quickly the cdc vax finder for appts is up & running.

V-safe vax follow up program is working for 3rd dose as well. I just remembered & filled it out.

I had initially understood it to be people who were over 65.

Then, when the FDA announced it's decision, it seemed like they were approving all from Groups I and II from last Spring. Including first responders, those with co-morbidities who were younger than 65, etc.

I guess I'll have to do some research.

With the additional requirement they be 6 to 8 months away from their initial doses.

So, (16+?) 50 and up with a vulnerability to severe disease, first responders, and those who's work takes them in close contact with potential COVID exposures and spread. Who are 6 to 8 months from the completion of their first shots.

One of the articles said there are around 60 million Americans who will eventually qualify over the next few months. Also, that there is enough vaccine available for the boosters.

night, when they put up their online appt app, and swooped in to get us scheduled. We are over 65 with medical issues (but not any of the immunocompromised issues). And we are exactly 6 months and 4 days after our 2nd injection.
