funny reader comment to SLC Trib endorsement of Obama

You know those creepy little obsequious characters in vampire movies who eat bugs and do little tasks for the vampires, particularly during daylight when the vampires are vulnerable? That's basically the role of the Republican voter for their Party's wealthy overlords.

Renfield was a lunatic who ate insects and spiders and later graduated to birds because he wanted their "life force." Dracula told him that if he (Renfield) would agree to serve him, Dracula would supply him with all the spiders he wanted.

Maybe Paul Ryan's last name is really Renfield.

In the novel, however, Renfield develops a conscience and tries to save Mina. I doubt that will happen with any of the current crop of vampire-serving GOPers.
