IOW, while I desired something more sinister, I'll settle for him being a pudgy - I like beer - momma's boy
who needed his irresponsible ass bailed out. |

3. Now was it the radical left or the far left that stephanie is straw manning?
Horrible written argument for MJ. It was his partisan hackers and perjury on his confirmation hearings. And then that was the non investigation investigation by the fbi.

5. This headline is incorrect.
The author does not claim to have "discovered" anything. The piece's argument is merely conjecture and speculation, and simply refers back to a previous piece the same author wrote in 2018 claiming that it "seems very likely the explanation is a simple one: He gets money from his family." Again, that's not evidence. This article simply repeats and references the author's own previously published speculation. MDN |

mother's basement eating cheetos and spouting ultra conservative politics.
Only his daddy bought him a Supreme Court chair to do it from. |

7. So where'd his parents get the cash?
Are they wealthy? A loan? A gift from a friend? Not that there’s anything wrong with that, necessarily.
From MoJo: As I explained back in 2018, gifts from family don’t have to be reported on federal judicial disclosure forms, and Kavanaugh’s family had deep pockets. He’s the only child of a “swamp creature,” Ed Kavanaugh, a longtime lobbyist for the cosmetics industry who spent his career schmoozing with Beltway insiders to fend off health and safety regulations and dueling with activists who wanted to ban cosmetic testing on animals. When the elder Kavanaugh retired in 2005, his compensation package that year from the Cosmetic, Toiletry and Fragrance Association totaled $13 million, according to the nonprofit group’s IRS filing. |

12. The dismissive tone of this article bothers me
It seems to equate with any legitimate questions or skepticism or desire for further investigation with Glenn Beck/Alex Jones-like conspiracy fearmongering on the left.

18. From the article
As it turned out, there were rather simple answers to most of those questions. Kavanaugh explained to the Senate Judiciary Committee that much of his credit card debt stemmed from either work on his fixer-upper mansion or buying Nats season and playoff tickets for himself and a handful of dudes who’d been going to the games together for years. |

But I get it... when rational thought fails, reach for the reductio ad absurdum for a pretense of cleverness.

maybe making some drunk driving tickets disappear, paying young women to keep quiet about assaults - I don't believe Blasey Ford was the only one he tried to force himself on.
