So bottom line, the decision was made to throw Gen Milley

under the bus? "No recollection of his recommendation to leave some troops" via Psaki..

Not quite sure what would have been wrong with saying that people close to me advised otherwise, but then I was advised that it wouldn't make any difference in the ultimate outcome, I decided to move forward and get the hell out of there to save lives. Or is that too nuanced?

Just strikes me as that you wouldn't want a general to have to testify that they didn't warn?

The downside, I reckon you would be called a bad decision maker? On the upside, you wouldn't have someone pretty much insinuating you're a liar.

Biden said “I don’t recall....” anyone proposing that. Hell, he could just be wrong.

The bottom line is that he’s the Commander in Chief and thank god he is.

Saying you heard the opposition? And did otherwise even if totally justified and explainable? Or saying you just didn't recall anyone opposing?

I support Biden of course, just trying to understand to PR

Now the Generals are saying that they did mention or suggest it.

Maybe Biden misspoke. Okay
I would think that leaving troops was discussed.
The bottom line Is that Biden made the decision. The whole thing is the rightwing whining that THEY WONT SAY WHAT WE WANT THEY TO!!! or HE DIDN'T LISTEN TO THE GENERALS!!!
Both are meant to demean Biden.

I wonder if I'd be more positive with "I heard them, I took all aspects into consideration and made my decision". ( And this opens myself up for being judged as making the wrong decision?). Or... Saying that I didn't recall opposition? Tough call. PR wise that is.

Minds just seem to not be made up.

Leave military troops, don't leave military troops.

It's over and done with!

OUR nation is on the verge of something.

Biden dint start the fire.

I include our CinC and VP in daily intercessions.

"God grant them Your Wisdom in leading our country. Amen."

And say there were widely varying points of view, and I took them all in? Information some didn't even know about

Obviously the ptb advisors said the best route was to feign ignorance on what the General testified to under oath.

You had two bad choices and B won out.
