1. But let's be clearer. It wasn't "the teachers". It was FOUR teachers bringing a suit.

NYC Department of Ed has 75,000 teachers. So this suit is 4 people out of 75,000.

So hopefully comments in this thread won't be like the last few threads on this where people started trashing the union and "NYC teachers" as a unit.

The union has nothing to do with those teachers bringing this suit.

The vast majority (well over 85%) of NYC school personnel are already vaccinated.

Those who are not vaccinated will be laid off next week.

It certainly isn't all of NYC teachers, but it's more than 4.
