But if you knew this you hid it to push a narrative of leniency.

Thus the simplest (and most likely) explanation is that the bomber likely thought "a pox on both their houses" and was not paid by the coup plotters. Though it unfortunately has to be given some consideration.

Anybody getting 45 days was likely charged with simple misdemeanour trespassing, and probably also got probation following their sentence.

Nobody charged with felony obstruction is getting 45 days.

There will be people who may never be identified and arrested, but surely they will live with the discomfort of never knowing when and if the FBI will come knocking on their door.
