Just got back from the Women's March/sign waving in my rural red FL county. It's still going on but the heat drove me away after 45 minutes.
At least 80 people, including many young women, were in attendance, waving wonderful signs to motorists on a busy street. The vast, vast majority of motorist response was positive. Here, that's a phenomenal turnout and people were still arriving as I left.
Only one counter protester showed - a young man with a small child (about 4). He was trying to pick arguments and mansplain to the mostly female crowd. Most of us told him to take his son home, that it was too hot for a young child. When I left, he was still there, arguing with one of the younger women.
I'll be interesting in seeing what other marches were like today.
