She removed the tweet because the backlash frightened her. She was really getting it on Twitter.

This is the kind of shit a lot of us expect from Republicans, not from reporters for Papers Of Record.

Also, the infrastructure/BBB legislation is stalled, but "dying"? If she actually were a reporter, she might have thought this through before reducing it to 280 characters or less - but hey, it is Twitter.

The church emoji - bonus points.

And certainly understand the trigger effect. I just read one of her pieces and noticed a pervasive, far more subtle, and thus effective, undermining slant than this. She triggered me also by using the insidious "moderate Democrats" term (suggesting a nonexistent "centrist" moderate faction allied with pro-business conservatives) without ever mentioning our overwhelmingly dominant liberal ideology.

This MSM swiftboaters' slander's in standard use now, and no doubt if we looked we'd find Russia and China augmenting it as well. Scary. We just can't afford lose the same voters to the same kind of demoralizing mindfucking as in 2016. People need to believe there are very good and extremely important reasons to vote Democratic.

Anyway, we take the WaPo, so at least I'll know more when I see her name.

One wouldn't know it if you equate "I'm sorry you were offended" with "I'm sorry for what I said" or, better yet, "What I said was wrong."

About noon and the troopers stopped traffic for the motorcade. I think they were going to pick him up. It didn’t look like he was in any of the cars because there were no little flags. There was a large black greyhound size bus in the presidential motorcade. I wondered if that was for the press. I know they get their own Osprey when they fly with marine One.
