As much as I despise what the republicans stand for they at least are unified. Joe needs to be a little more of an sob. Primary their asses.

4. We are pretty damned united, it's only TWO NeoDems that are showing their ass.

I've never seen the Democratic Party as United since the Vietnam era.

The press is making a big deal of internal discussions, calling us divided and in disarray.

That is JUST NOT TRUE.

Yes, we have some points of disagreement to iron out, but damn it seems like this time all mainstream wings of the party are really truly trying to work things out as adults.

Hell, it's been months since I was scolded here on DU by a centrist for my left wing viewpoints as even I am trying my best to work with the other wing without undue criticism, it seems that we all are learning to get along fairly reasonably, and are realizing we are only as strong as our weakest link.

Much of this has been concocted by the MSM. Those "no labels" and "third way" Dems are infinitely less ridiculous than what the GOP has turned into. What I'd like to call "old school" Dems express their concerns as not wanting to dump the baby out with the bathwater, whereas Republicans seem to be demanding NO MORE BATHWATER FOR BABIES!

West Virginia is a dying state that offers no culture: just pollution, racism and backwardness. Young people have been leaving in droves, leaving behind the trumpanzee deadenders.

We're better off cutting our losses and focusing on areas where Dem constituencies can be cultivated.

is running for re-election in 2024. If he does, he is fairly likely to lose anyway, especially IF Governor Justice runs against him, as Justice has outflanked him on the right and on the left. Manchin barely won against a poor Rethug candidate in 2018 even with that giant Blue Wave at his back, something he very well may not have in 2024.
