Comey's Rule on Netflix. Anyone else watching, what is your reaction?

This series popped up on my Netflix feed, hadn't heard about it before. Apparently it had streamed on Showtime and now it's on Netflix.

Wasn't going to watch because I didn't want to relive the trauma, and I felt like I knew enough of what happened and we all lived through this nightmare for over 5 years and still counting.

But given the actors, and the dialogue featured in the trailer, I found it compelling enough to give it a go last night. I found myself fixated. I'm only on the 3rd episode I think and I was pretty much glued before I turned in for the night and shut the set off.

Gonna, continue tonight I think, but I'm curious if anyone in our DU world has seen this in it's entirety or perhaps just getting started with this on Netflix? And what were your thoughts?

Might watch it. Still pissed off at Comey and don't think that I will ever stop being pissed off at him, despite him being slightly more principled than to bend to Trump's will.

And even his own family, colleagues in the bureau, friends and the public. I'm just finished with the 3rd episode and I'm more than impressed so far. Especially with the casting, of a slew of other figures, including a brief but very telling moment with Mueller. Wish we could have seen that side of Mueller pre Russia Investigation. We wouldn't have pinned so much value in that asshole either.

The actor that portrays Rod Rosenstein is damn good too.

It is certainly worth watching.

It really brought home the repulsiveness of that insane man who once was president. How anyone could stand to work in his administration is beyond me. Highly recommended.

This is four shows for "Season 1" and it ends with Comey getting fired. I wish they would continue the story of McCabe, Lisa Page and Peter Strzok. Matter of fact someone ought to do an entire series using Breedon Gleeson as Trump to dramatize what happened during his tenure. Gleeson was seriously disgusting because he didn't play it over-the-top like a comedy routine.

I agree it's worth watching, although I was hesitant at first. I guess it has to end with Comey's firing, I also agree the rest of the story needs to be portrayed on film too. The actor playing McCabe is remarkable in capturing him physically as well as McCabe's personality.

A couple of short moments struck me as needing more attention, the meeting Comey had with Mueller, and the agents who were openly happy about investigating HRC... one calling her a "bitch" openly. I mean, I heard and read there were these hate mongers in the FBI as regards HRC. (I knew about this before she tossed her hat in the ring, and feared they would try to destroy her as a candidate)

I feel like I need to revisit historic time lines to understand the scene between Mueller and Comey.

I'm not familiar with Gleeson, and didn't know he was a comedic actor. Put's an interesting light on his talents. Very Creepy in this case.

Love the actors and it is always fun to get a peek behind our politics and how flawed most of our leaders appear to be. I know it is not the whole truth of what takes place beyond our public view. Still there are moments and they are fascinating.

watching it again on Netflix.

Very compelling drama. Well acted. Based on Comey's book, which I had read.

I recommend Peter Strzok's book, Compromised, for follow up on the Russia story.

Prefer CD's because I "read" at night in bed most often.. Sometimes during the day when I'm puttering or cleaning that's when the streaming best fits for me. Thanks for the reminder to check.
