I dislike her husband in a serious way, but she has 3 children under the age of 5. I lost my mom when I was 17, my youngest sister was 8, I am 66 and it still hurts to this moment. Hoping for the very best for this young woman.

Breast cancer nowadays isn’t automatically a death sentence like it was in years past. And I’m sure being the wife of the Governor she will get the best treatment possible.

I was diagnosed in January of this year following a routine mammogram. Finished all treatment in April. I thought medical treatment would be slowed down due to Covid but here in northern California it couldn’t have been smoother. Maybe where you live matters.

Having had the ultimate treatment: surgery, chemo, radiation,

I could not have done that without my husband by my side at every appointment and most treatment. I suspect she will not have that.

Having small children and the whole pandemic will make it harder for her.

Other than that, I will not say anything.
