get so easily triggered...Don't these people ever work, ever deal w/ the outside world on a real time basis, and see things outside the scope of FB, IG, etc.?

I have to laugh, for I met a young man yesterday (25 or so) that doesn't have a computer or is on his cell phone constantly, something that one doesn't see very often. It was actually nice to deal w/ him and enjoy the banter and not drivel that sometimes you can encounter when you deal w/ someone who pokes their head up maybe once or twice for a few seconds (to breath I guess) and then they're back at it, on the phone.

I'm a firm believer that if you go out to be w/ friends, be w/ your friends and leave the phone in the car. Spend actual, real time w/ an actual person/people and enjoy life as it actually is. This is a skill I find that not many younger people really know, that is, they actually don't really know how to really talk to people on a real time, one on one basis.

5. It's very exciting living on the edge of eternity

Any sort of coincidence or happenstance can be blown up into "the beginning of a new world," and YOU (yes, YOU!) are poised and primed to be one of lucky few who knows what's really going on. Your un-pilled friends are just sitting there, a bit inconvenienced, but they don't know what's about to happen.

For folks who need to be "on the inside" and whose identity is wrapped up in being one of gnostics, it's a real ego boost. Part of the problem is that each successive event needs to be a "this time for sure" because as the nothingburgers pile up, other people start drifting away. But not the True Believers! This time for sure, guys.
