a debt default idea

i dont know if theis is possible but...
announce that the government is calling off all payments to red states until the limit is raised. exclude social security and medicare since the 14th amendment specifically mentions pensions but cut off every other dollar.
and use the money to stay under the limit.
let teh GOP know that wvery week they delay a hike in the ceiling means 50% of that money will never be paid.

Some sources make it sound like even SS won’t be paid. A lot of these government shut downs are not really felt by the average person. But if SS payments don’t get paid out, that will certainly get everyone’s attention. All this budget stuff is certainly hard to understand, but everyone would certainly understand that.
