(51,591 posts)We should keep calling and calling. I like to call the GOP reps, it gets my adrenaline going. I use an address from Zillow to allow me to be a constituent in any state.....it works (500+ calls and still counting).

(7,432 posts)I'd like to see some DOJ action. We now have an indication from Garland that investigations are likely in progress (lots of hesitation, not a little skepticism). Nothing happens until it happens.

It's not going to happen.
Criminal charges and the potential for jail are not going to be on the agenda.
And it's likely he will run again in 2024 and this time many states will select Trump electoral voters no matter what the election results are claiming election fraud.
I'm not sure what can be done about this.
Unless Democrats in Congress pass laws to prevent it Trump will be president of the US for the rest of his life.
Justice matters.

(2,844 posts)No consequences for blatant, in-your-face, in broad daylight illegal behavior. We just can't prosecute a former president. That would just look so bad. What would the world think of us.
IMHO, the entire world would jump for joy and party for months.

Well, he didn't try to overturn an election, obstruct Justice 10 times, grab women by their genitals without their consent, et al!
