Rope too short = death by strangulation
Rope correct length = death by broken neck

Working with "insurrection busters" gathering evidence from live cam footage I watched, sometimes frame-by-frame, several with ropes. At least two were full nooses, ties correctly enough to be usable, and more rope that could be used in short order. Not sure of the third one, as it was hard to distinguish who was carrying one of them. Possibly a duplicate.

But yeah, the symbolic gallows was too structurally pathetic to be of practical use. Those who dismiss the ability of a mob to go mindless and brutally kill by any means underestimate that psychological phenomenon. They were frenzied up enough from the get-go.

It does not appear to be sufficiently constructed to serve as an actual gallows. But according to credible reports of the chatter on alt-right sites and language in public court documents, there were rioters there who would have hung Pence and democrats given the opportunity. What friendship to integrity and honor did Pence show? He was involved with freakazoid Trump (who miraculously won the election) so to both push his religious wackadoodlism and to set himself up for later Prezelnit run. He was part of the zookeepers who purposely let the animals run free and then escape from their plan to kill him.

Pence is no hero in any sense to me.
