I was joking of course. Purse snatchers don't care about that MagickMuffin Oct 2021 #3

Purse snatchers want your wallet: credit cards, ID, key ring, and maybe some cash.

I wear my purse with the strap across my chest — always. On the rare occasions I’ve asked my husband to hold my bag for a moment, he dangles the strap from his fingers, which would make it extremely easy for someone to grab and run. He does this entirely unthinkingly — because like most men, he’s never had to think about it.

just like covid doesn't care about politics, religion, or skin color.

I've had to use my purse as a weapon on some drunk ass punks, they went running away.

The scenario: was out drinking and dancing, stopped at Denny's, left with my friend (we are both short) and two guys approach us and one had a pocket knife, I said "What are you gonna do with that" and I started swinging my purse until they skedaddled away like scared little man bullyboys they were.

…just prior to sending me into orbit from the centrifugal force. But I still don’t want to find out.

I'm not sure what I would do today, perhaps the same. I don't like bullies. However, with today's climatic I'm not so certain anymore and being in Texas is another red flag.

I guess it was cheaper than wigs.
