Who knew? The right-wing is fighting people who "hate America": Nicki Haley

The conservative argument for power now and in the future is that they are the only true patriots who love America, while all others hate America. They use the culture wars to do this-- it's why they created a whole movement to fight "critical race theory" in order to portray those who point out the US's historical failings as hating America. To them any criticism of the past, such as criticizing slavery, is equal to hate.

Frankly, most self-identifying conservatives really do not care much about economics or anything else but the culture wars. The culture wars are and have been the focus of Fox News and Trump as well.

This tactic needs to be strongly fought against in the the sphere of public opinion.

Evidence? Well there's plenty. Here is the latest:

Nikki Haley outlines her vision of the Republican future (with or without Donald Trump)
"WASHINGTON – Nikki Haley told fellow Republicans Tuesday they have an urgent mission to renew their conservative convictions, the latest in a series of high-profile speeches by potential GOP presidential candidates maneuvering in the shadow of Donald Trump.

"A large portion of our people are plagued by self-doubt or even by hatred of America. It’s a pandemic much more damaging than any virus," Haley said in a heavily promoted speech at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation & Institute in Simi Valley, Calif.."

Complete insanity there.

Descriptions of Democrats that sound nothing like reality. Democrats are all communists and tyrannical and want to destroy America and brainwash everyone. Supposedly nothing Democrats do is ever moderate, let alone something being done for the right reasons, for good motives. Supposedly everything Democrats do is an evil plot to destroy the country.

Oh, and there's lots of talk on RW radio now about an "American divorce" with states where Republicans control state government splitting from states controlled by Democrats. This is supposedly because it's absolutely impossible for conservatives, who supposedly care about America, to live near liberals, who supposedly hate America.

Lots of talk that RWers who live in blue states should relocate to Texas and Florida to make sure those states never turn blue.

Lots of hatred of Biden, who's viewed as simultaneously a dangerous tyrant and the mentally incompetent puppet of an evil communist cabal led by AOC, Bernie Sanders, and Nancy Pelosi.

It's such a bizarre alternate reality on RW radio that it would be hilarious if it weren't also such a genuine threat to this country.

What you see on Fox is only the tip of the toxic iceberg, more of which is visible on Newsmax and OAN. But you have to listen to RW radio to get some idea how much very dangerous brainwashing of the conservative audience goes on every day -- and every night, since there are plenty of these shows running overnight for conservatives listening then.

People who think the country can conduct a free and fair election, or people who resort to murderous violence when they lose a free and fair election?
