This morning Yachtsman Joe Manchin holds a no-questions-allowed presser. Take-away: no change on his filibuster stance. Instead he implores Schumer and McConnell to work together.

Shortly thereafter, Magnanimous Mitch offers help in the form of a debit ceiling increase through November (or whatever he said). This, of course, plays into his plans and if Schumer takes it, he wins the Senate's Chump Of The Year award.

Sometimes what appears to be a coincidence is one, and at other times its not.

I wonder what the turtle has on the yachtsman? Possibly the same leverage turtle has on most of the Rs.

You can bet your ass Mitch has an ulterior motive with this, most likely something to beat Dems over the head with come election time. And Manchin ain't no country hick about this shit, either.

billions of dollars, that republicans can use against us in the mid-terms...this on paying the bills trump ran up. McTurtle is just pure evil, and Manchin goes right along with him. With Dems like Manchin, who needs republicans?
