We desperately need to put some points on the board.

I'm one of the most Pollyannaish posters on this board but the party and Joe definitely need some wins. That should be empirically obvious to anyone. We need to change the conversation.

We will pass both together

As for what we can tout right now, democrats have delivered $1400 per person, a $250 tax credit per child monthly and increased food security

Those are off the top of my head

but will probably settle at around 2 trillion, and perhaps for 5 years instead of 10 years once Manchin and Sinema finally get a grip.

Then both bills will pass at the end of this month and we'll be on our way with the Biden agenda.

on his debt limit brinksmanship. This was after Biden's threat that said we need to consider making a "carveout" of the filibuster so we don't default on paying our bills. He said our play was to push Mitch to the edge until business, foreseeing huge losses if we defaulted, pushed him to fold. He was hoping to somehow force us to use one of our reconciliation cards on funding our bills.

So, still to become official, but looks like some points on the board.

Even to raise the debt ceiling which IMHO is an indefensible position.

vote for them. When independents see who they really are they say fuck that and vote with us. They are giving us points on the board everyday IMO.
