Quinnipiac has President Biden at 38% approval. 2.7% MOE.

This isn’t rightwing pablum and it will be broadcast.

President Joe Biden's approval rating hits new low in latest Quinnipiac poll

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2021/10/06/biden-approval-rating-hits-new-low-latest-quinnipiac-poll/6024631001/

Biden’s approval rating has dropped to 38%, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released Wednesday. That’s down from 42% three weeks ago and from a high of 50% in mid-February.

“Battered on trust, doubted on leadership, and challenged on overall competency, President Biden is being hammered on all sides as his approval rating continues its downward slide to a number not seen since the tough scrutiny of the Trump administration,” Quinnipiac University polling analyst Tim Malloy said in a prepared statement.

While the Quinnipiac poll has Biden at an all-time low approval rating, an analysis of various polls by FiveThirtyEight shows it remains at 44%. That is 6 points higher than the Quinnipiac poll.

The poll surveyed 1,326 adults between Oct. 1-4. Its margin of error was 2.7 percentage points.

People are just tired of everything on the news. They just want the government to go to work and quit yapping. They want all politicians to just shut up and do their work.

They just want to watch more mindless ballgames.

If things don't get better they may take up pickleball.

Remember where Obama was at this point?
And hmm, didn't he serve two full terms, winning two majorities?

He "wasted" a lot of his first mandate getting the ACA, and yeah, that brought the awful 2010 election. But... but it was worth it-- for us and for him.

Joe is "wasting" his mandate on getting most of us vaxxed and past the pandemic, and this great big infrastructure bill. The sausage-making part is discouraging everyone. But when we get all that money flowing into the economy-- and when all that $ that was going to that eternal war stops flowing into the war!-- everyone who voted for him-- a healthy majority-- will like him again.

He's smart to do the hard stuff and painful stuff when he still has three years of his term, and still a year before the next midterm election.

The southern border, Afghanistan, etc were not handled well at all. But those situations can fade from memory.

The BIG problem are his numbers on the economy, 39% approval-55% disapproval. People are paying more at the pump and the grocery store since he took office. That’s what affects people everyday. If the economic trends and inflation continue, the midterms are gonna be tough. Clinton, Bush, Obama, and Trump all lost majorities in Congress during midterms.

That’s the downside with being in charge, your side is gonna get all the blame.

The border and Afghanistan are definite negatives. Some of that’s media sure but that’s not the only reason. Yes the pump and the grocery store are immediate indicators for most people. The details don’t matter.

That makes me pretty economically happy. And... it's the market in action. Supply and demand, and for once, it's helping workers.

Of course, I don't watch cable news or listen to talking heads. Consequentially, those same talking heads who, like Facebook, have it in their financial interest to level the playing field, create anger and controversy whether there is any or not.

So yeah, I have nothing be admiration for every one of our 48 democratic senators, our executive branch democrats and all of our democratic congresspersons. They are doing an awesome job.

Thank you to them. Keep up the great work!

Republicans and Independents who votes for Biden over Trump also voted for Republicans in the House and Senate, and will likely do so in 2022.

Just at the store today I heard so much misinformation about the $3.5 trillion. The biased corporate media isn’t helping. And of course there is so much full on RW Qpublican talk on the radio and TV. Being the hopeful person I am, I think that President Biden will rebound. He’s done an excellent job.
