5 new quarters featuring women will be released starting 2022... thru 2025

The distinguished American women celebrated on the 2022 quarters will be:

Maya Angelou – celebrated writer, performer, and social activist
Dr. Sally Ride – physicist, astronaut, educator, and first American woman in space
Wilma Mankiller – first female principal chief of the Cherokee Nation
Nina Otero-Warren – a leader in New Mexico’s suffrage movement and the first female superintendent of Santa Fe public schools
Anna May Wong – first Chinese American film star in Hollywood

?A Jackson on the ?20$ bill.

But have often been featured on coins before then. Sometime in the 20th century we decided T would be a boy's only club. Nice to see this turn back.

I use a debit card everywhere. I'm rolling up my change that is leftover and eventually get it in my bank account.

Loose change is just an annoyance...

Ok not everyone but a pretty large percentage that grows daily. Covid made it even more likely. The only quarter I think should be changed is the actress from China. Couldn’t they find perhaps first woman from China either senator or house member? Congresswoman Judy Chu who was first house representative from China. She should get the quarter.

I do use cash for my end of year gifts to my housekeeper. My monthly bills are on my debit account.

Laura Gardin Fraser’s proposed Washington quarter obverse design will replace the current one.

It was runner up in 1932 to John Flanagan’s design.
