I hope he will explain that to all the police officers who took an oath to defend him from the very thugs who were hunting down and yelling HANG PENCE? Not to mention, lives were lost from that day. This sniveling POS was neck deep trying to help overthrow our democracy and by the grace of a former Vice President talk him off the cliff. Pence is vying to set himself up for a presidential run & is reason he spewing Trump crap!

(15,121 posts)You'd think that would have been his REAL come-to-Jesus moment, instead of the fake one that makes him look so constipated all the time while quietly supporting the seditionists who fucking tried to kill him!

(11,550 posts)Mike Pence? Confront someone? He'd rather turn the other cheek! (And then, get the Ohio state police to drag you away for some unspecified reason and then make sure you never saw the light of day again... but he would never confront anyone.) That willowy pansey couldn't confront a kitten. (But I bet he could have one bagged and tossed, eh?)

(926 posts)If he "doesn't think that January 6th riot was no big deal", that means he thinks it is a big deal, right? Is that what you meant to say?

(4,475 posts)It's almost ALWAYS the case that being VP is your last job in politics.
Very few Vice Presidents ever work in politics again. The only ones that do, become Presidents. I had to go back to Henry Wallace in 1946 to find a VP that found a job in politics that wasn't President. (Wallace became Commerce Secretary)
It's kinda of a weird duality. It's probably the end of your political career. But it's also the best launching pad to become President.
The ones that don't become Presidents, usually end up running a university or hedge fund.

And yet he thinks it is "no big deal."

(20,811 posts)Q-tip believes republicans respect him, and that he's a viable candidate for a presidential run in 2024.
I think he polled third or fourth at the CPAC conference this past summer. No one wants Q-tip in the White House in any capacity. He was a bit player in TFGs shit-show, and even evangelicals can't stand his weak, sycophantic image.
Pence is not leadership material. He'll always be a bit player in the republican, dictatorial passion play.

(9,423 posts)Someone should show him the picture of him and his brother running for their lives, and remind him that Trump made him a target of the insurrectionists then left him to die.
It wont matter but Trump tried to have him killed and now, he is back to kissing his ass, what a sick fuck.

(42,409 posts)Otherwise, why did he disappear for the last 14 days of Chump's term? He was nowhere to be found until after Biden was sworn in and Chump was gone from Washington.
Now Pence is playing this stupid political game, tiptoeing around Chump and pretending that he still has a political career to resurrect. Chump is such a vindictive, revengeful person and he does hold a grudge against Mike Pence. In Chump's mind, it's all Pence's fault that he didn't get reinstated as the "rightful" president. Mike Pence would be smart to just shut up and quietly leave the country for couple of years. But we know he won't.
