A Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputy who was caught having sex near the Bates Motel at Universal Studios while on duty was reportedly fired this week.
The deputy first made headlines last December when a minute-long recording of the encounter was published on TMZ.
In the clip, a woman is heard giggling and saying: 'Oh. Oh, my goodness!'
A female dispatcher tries to alert the deputy of his 'open mic' as the woman's sex sounds continue.
'95 Ocean, you have an open mic,' the dispatcher states. '95 Ocean, you have an open mic take care of mic.'
The message goes unanswered as the cop's companion continues to moan. The woman's wails get louder and louder, before the clip cuts out.
The deputy, who has not been identified, accidentally left his microphone on while he and a woman shared an 'x-rated encounter' in his squad car.
The sexual encounter occurred while the theme park was closed amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The cop was 'immediately relieved of duty' following the incident and an investigation was opened.
The LA County Sheriff's Office did not immediately respond to DailyMail.com's request for comment.

The USAToday prepared another publicly-available one here: https://www.usatoday.com/in-depth/news/investigations/2019/04/24/biggest-collection-police-accountability-records-ever-assembled/2299127002/
Neither contains everything that's out there.

(15,751 posts)There was a small parking lot for about 6 cars in the front of the building. 2 cars were parked in front. It was dark but a few office lights were on.
A squad car pulled up, parked within 25 feet of the road. A woman got out of the front seat and joined an officer in the back seat. After a while, the officer got out, and the driving officer got in the back seat. 'Romance' occurred, twice it seemed. Squad car drove away within 15 minutes or so.
Pretty flagrant I thought.

That makes all the difference in whether it's a funny story or not.
