I support Chuck Schumer in his speech to the Senate yesterday! Period! Unapologetically!

PERIOD!! It us tune for moderate Dems and fake patriotic GOP to get off their high horses and begin work for the people. No one criticized McConnell for boldly declaring his intention to obstruct Obama on every turn...not even moderate Dems called them out.
I am sick and tired of the media, the voters and legislatures publicly holding Dems to hypocritical double standards! Meanwhile, the GOP continues to collect dark money to continue to undermine this and other Democratic Presidents as the GOP and their buddies continue to rob the nation blind of justified tax revenues, continue to deny workers living wages, and continue to assault women on every level in every way possible.
If the ship is going down, I will go down with it but I want to go down fighting.

Fuck those who don't!!!
End of rant.

Judging by the headlines & Corporate Owned Media News posers on TV & Social Media, "Biden's In Big Political Trouble"!! & "his popularity #'s are tanking"!!

DEMS in Disarray!! Again!

Not a peep about our President's Speech, accomplishments, immesurable barriers put up by Team Trump & Barr as tgey headed out the door.
Nope. Can't run that by the public's eyes & ears 24/7 or even the second day.

BacK to CORPORATE OWNED TV & SOCIAL MEDIA hard driving their scripted preferred message 24/7 like a 2016/2020 Trump Rally.

When Corporate Media silences the good & elevates the damned, & people buy their slick lie as truth, then it is those believers & repeaters alone who have sold out our country, its Democracy.

"Burn it All Down!!". They're Both the Saaaame", they screeched for their moment of money & profile raising time in the Headlines.

Never mind Biden, they have a Democray to destroy & a Dark Money PAC to fill up with $$$$ & propaganda that'd make these guys blush.

Corporate Owned Money & Media will destroy this nation.

Who cares is the feelings of these idiot republicans are hurt? Not me

It wasn't easy, but the Senate approved a temporary solution to the Republicans' debt-ceiling crisis last night, offering the country a two-month reprieve. Though GOP leaders acknowledged midday that they were struggling to secure the support needed to pass the idea Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell proposed, in the end, 11 GOP senators grudgingly agreed to allow a vote.

At that point, Democrats approved the deal on their own — with zero Republican votes. The bill now heads to the House, before arriving at the White House for President Joe Biden's signature.

There were, however, two areas of unexpected drama. First, moments before the vote, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer took Republicans to task for having created this crisis. "In a few moments, the Senate will pass an extension of the debt limit through early December, avoiding a first-ever, Republican-manufactured default on the national debt," the New York Democrat said. He added, "Republicans played a dangerous and risky partisan game, and I am glad that their brinksmanship did not work."

Evidently, this hurt GOP leaders' feelings. NBC News reported:

"I let him have it," said [South Dakota Sen. John Thune], the Senate minority whip, whose support helped pass the bill, in response to Schumer. "I just thought it was incredibly partisan speech after we had just helped them solve a problem."

That, of course, would be the problem Thune and his party created for no good reason.

Many wanted him to get tough. Okay, he got tough (not as tough as I would have been, but that's one of many reasons I'm not a senator).

Uh oh. He got too tough. He hurt their feelings. He's a big meanie. And even worse, he got Sen. Manchin's bowels in an uproar.

That faint thumping you hear is Sen. Schumer banging his head against the wall.
