Scavino was served with his subpoena Friday, according to two sources familiar with the situation. He was in New York, and the subpoena was accepted by a proxy at Trump's Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Fla., according to one of the sources, who noted this was the first time service was attempted, as Scavino has been out in public since the subpoenas were issued.
The Jan. 6 committee declined to comment on the status of the subpoena to Scavino, who was not mentioned in Thompson and Cheney's statement.
